Willey\, co-founder of the American Society of Dowsers\, Modern Dowsing (1970) \n\nHave you ever known someone who could locate underground water using nothing more than a pair of bent coat hangers or divining rods? Throughout history\, dowsing has been used for locating water\, minerals and other underground features. Some practitioners have also used it in agriculture\, land assessment and beekeeping as one of many tools for understanding a landscape. \nThis introductory workshop explores the art and practice of dowsing with a focus on beekeeping and working with the natural environment. We will investigate how some experienced beekeepers use dowsing alongside careful observation\, local knowledge and good apiary management when selecting hive locations. \nDuring this hands-on workshop you will learn how to: \n\nUse dowsing rods with confidence.\nLocate underground water and other landscape features.\nExplore earth energy lines and supportive places within the landscape.\nApply dowsing as one of several tools for selecting potential hive sites.\nCreate thriving habitats for both honeybees and native bees.\nDeepen your connection with nature through observation and practice.\n\nWhether you are completely new to dowsing or simply curious to learn more\, this workshop offers an opportunity to develop a practical skill\, explore different perspectives on reading the landscape\, and discover another way of connecting with the places where bees live and thrive.s\, \n  \n  \n  \n
