Busy For Bees Working Bee: September 18th 10.30-3.30

Weston Community Orchard is holding a Busy for Bees Day on Sunday September 18th 10.30 -3.30.
Come and enjoy a fun day learning about our wonderful pollinators, both honeybees and native bees, join in making a Bee Hotel for the Orchard, learn about the best plants to grow for a delicious all year banquet for the bees and also help in clearing the blackberry from this very old orchard which has been neglected since the 2003 bushfires. Warren will be talking about the wonders of Warre Hives and we’ll also be planting a range of native plants along the boundary and stirring Biodynamic Preparations to spray on the orchard.
